INCREASE YOUR FITNESS TO IMPROVE YOUR BUSINESS

The level of physical activities of the people living on the Balkans is relatively low, especially when compared to the countries in Western Europe. Physical inactivity can also place a burden on the health system, and lead to premature death or disabilities coming even from lighter injuries. Various studies suggest that over one third of the total amount of diseases experienced by the people on the Balkans may be prevented by modifying the lifestyle risk factors, with an accent to the increased level of physical activity. The sedentary nature of our lifestyle can also lead to poorer health outcomes. Many of us are sitting for long periods such as spending time in front of a computer at work or driving to work or school. Also, a lot of our downtime is spent on electronic devices scrolling through social media, bingeing on our favorite programs or playing video games.

The Immoricon team has agreed to participate in the Business League for ping-pong (table tennis) in our country. The Business League consists of several successful and reputable companies. The goals are:

  • Maintaining physical activities of the employees,
  • Initializing socialization with the other participants, and above all
  • Possible establishment of cooperation between companies.

Immoricon is represented by five of its employees and the matchday is every Saturday. This, by default, contributes to boosting the positive atmosphere in the workplace as well!


Apparently, we lost our inauguration match against the actors from our local theater but, as expected from all the written above, the result has not been the imperative!

Immoricon can offer some tips to get more physically active, and here are some of them:

  • Change your mindset – if you are busy, think of movement as an opportunity, not an inconvenience;
  • Exercise with a friend, family members or colleagues;
  • Set goals to keep focused and motivated;
  • Make a habit to do cardio or gym at least four times per week;
  • Make sure that you move around for at least a couple of minutes every hour when sitting for a longer period;
  • NO MORE EXCUSES – you may feel flat before you start but will have more energy when you finish.
