THE IMPORTANCE OF WALKING THE EXTRA MILE

The famous Marylin Monroe once said: “If you can’t handle me at my worst, you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best”.

Recently, we had a challenging request with one of our most reliable clients.

What is the background?
This request came from a client that we already had an ongoing cooperation with for various “easy-going” products that are quite price sensitive.

What was being asked from us?
We were asked to supply a product that is very complicated. Our production partner was very hesitant to initiate the development of the same yet even to consider producing it in the future.

Who are we competing with?

  1. All the competitors who rejected the proposal from this client.
  2. Ourselves, especially with the unhidden temptation to say NO.



What did we do?
Keeping in mind the successful cooperation so far and the great relationship-in-the-making we decided to go ahead with the project, regardless to all the short-term headaches and struggles accompanying the same. Our production partner was already supplying them with some references, so they also decided to “play the game”!

How does the client see us now?
With the client we are now building an unbreakable bond and they are willing to commit even stronger with more of their “easy-going” articles even though we may be slightly more expensive than our competitors. Why…? Because they know that we can support them to the utmost by all means! Fair play and win-win for everyone…
